Locally, I’ve found that switching the theme to any of the themes shipped with wordpress also have the issue. So it’s not just a theme issue after all.
I’ve also noticed that I lose the ability to add an excerpt locally, no matter the theme. As local is on a free plan of the Glossary, while dev and prod are both on the pro version, I’m wondering now if having the excerpt is a paid feature.
The dev did say that the plugin is being called twice in the page it’s loading. and the console shows js errors from – well, from hubspot and from sentry, which…I mean who knows how that affects it.
I do suspect this is in fact a plugin issue, and not a theme one.
